Dune II - The Maker is an open-source remake of Dune 2, one of the fathers of modern real-time strategy games. The original title came out back in 1992 for MS-DOS, so not only does it have serious compatibility problems on modern computers, but as usual, the native resolution of the game is very, very low. This remake will allow you to solve all that and much more instantly.

Running Dune II - The Maker is as simple as unzipping the zipped file to any folder and double-clicking on the executable. Thus, without the need for installation, you can play on full screen with the native resolution you have set. You will not need anything else. Everything you need to enjoy the game is already inside the download.

In Dune II - The Maker, you will have two different game modes at your disposal. On the one hand, in the campaign mode, you will have to complete the various missions that comprise the game's main adventure and follow (more or less) the book's story. On the other hand, you find the skirmish mode, where you can choose one of the many settings available and face the AI.
